It turns out that there are a plethora of beautiful wedding venues and locales in Southwest Colorado and the Durango region. This is one of the reasons Durango photography has captivated me. If you happen to drive Northwest out of Durango for about an hour you may end up in a cute little town known as Dolores. If you head East through downtown Dolores you will likely be headed to Telluride, and if you attempt to count the amount of beautiful locations for weddings, Colorado wedding photography, and or Colorado elopement photography spots you would end up with a fairly large number. Sage and Kiliyah found a beautiful spot for their intimate ceremony in an aspen glade just uphill of the Dolores River fairly close to the historic town of Rico. If you are interested in renting this property for your event or vacation in the area here is the link: https://www.vrbo.com/1684432 The Dolores river valley is absolutely stunning and as a Durango photographer I only wish that I could take photos at so many of the gorgeous properties along the drive. Thankfully there are properties like this one that allow events to take place in the midst of this scenery! If you are looking for Colorado elopement packages and possible locations for your elopement plans the Dolores River valley via Highway 141 from Stoner to Lizard Head Pass to Telluride has just about anything that you could ask for: Red Sandstone river gorges, aspens as far as the eye can see, snow capped mountains, high alpine lakes, and plenty of places to easily get away from the crowds. Durango photographers like me get very excited when clients plan their events in this area. Eloping in Colorado can be a truly magical experience. In the case of Sage and Kiliyah it was exactly that, magical. The Durango to Telluride area offers endless possibilities and stunning views as far as the eye can see. I highly recommend planning your event here! What My Clients Are Saying:"My husband and I have known Andy for years and when we got married he was our first choice for photographers for so many reasons. We wanted someone who would capture our big day without it feeling intrusive, or forced, he was so fun and easy going and put us and our guests/wedding party at ease. His natural ability to capture and highlight landscapes made for pictures that showcase why we choose to get married in the mountains. He paid close attention to details, and got candid shots we absolutely love. Additionally he was so organized and got every posed shot we had asked him for, without us having to worry or keep track. He got the pictures back to us quickly and has been so fun and professional to work with. I highly recommend Andy for any occasion." -Nicole Patrick
